During our Red Into Black - Dealing with the Fair Work Ombudsman webinar on Feb 11th, concerns were raised by audience members around Covid-19 and requesting that employees return to the Workplace.
Note - this is useful information whether you were able to attend or not. Chris Smith our panelist has written to clarify and to let us know that additional content has just been added to the FWO’s Coronavirus and workplace laws website relating to COVID-19 vaccinations and the workplace.
In response to the upcoming rollout of a coronavirus vaccine across Australia, the FWO has been working closely with other government agencies and stakeholders to better understand the common questions expressed by businesses and employees on this topic.
Following this initial engagement and the key questions identified, we have updated the information on our coronavirus website about the interaction between workplace rights and obligations and the rollout of a vaccine. The information is available at COVID-19 vaccinations & the workplace.
